Hello,
I recently viewed a music video clip in explorer with the media player plug-in. When I try to view this file with the stand-alone media player, it says that it doesnt recognise it. Does anyone know how I could view this video file ?

Hello,
Could you give more specifics? What type of file is it? Also try other players. Try zoom player for starters. Do you have the proper codec installed?

It is a .dat file, that I copied from my temporary internet files folder, of a music video clip that I viewed on the mtv web site. I'm not sure what type of file it is but I know that it has to be sum sort of video file. It also has permissions that it automatically dls when I try to view it. I have only tried media player and winamp so far.
