Ok so I recently bought a DVD-RAM by optodisc and before I only used the 4.38gb ones. I'm using this for my dvd recorder and it seems like I only get 2 hours of recording time on SP with this. Is this like double sided? So I like turn it over and record on the other side if I want? Not sure how this thing works sorry

If both sides of the disc have the same color of brown and gold, then it is a double-sided disc, i.e. 4.7GB on each side, and 9.4GB in total. While other brands normally sell their 9.4GB discs in removable cartridges, Optorite seems to be the only manufacturer also selling non-cartridge type 9.4GB discs, and you need to be very careful when handling these bare discs since DVD-RAM discs are not as scratch-resistent as other DVD formats.
