    anyone know if the dazzle creator any good? not creator II ... but digtial Creator with realtime mpeg1 ???

    It's fairly good, but for $85 you can get a PCI card that does a much better job, the PV231. However, if you're shopping for a USB device, the Dazzle DVC does a OK job on mpeg-1.
