  1. I have no idea where this go.

I have files for 3 VCD and I would like to add make one DVD out of them. I am not looking for anything fancy. I just want to put it in my DVD player and have it play the movie.

If you don't have it then download the trial version of TMPGEnc DVD Author and import your mpegs, TDA will convert the audio for you. If you need to extract the files from a VCD look here.

The files with their sequential numbering should be fine if they are complete. I suggest you ask the person(s) you got them from how you should proceed from here.

  5. My VCDs have files names "aviseq001.dat" "aviseq002.dat" etc (if memory serves me). I used isobuster to rip these back off the VCD to a MPG file. I then demux with tmpgenc and change the sampling rate of the audio to 48khz with ssrc. Then multiplex back together. As mentioned, TDA may work too, but I've never used it. I don't know anything about .r
