  2. Not trying to be sarcastic, but whats so great about it? It doesn't do Hidef and it is software encoding based. So all I see is a usb2 based standard def tvtuner with a remote.

    Is the software package that it comes with really good? (Not that it needs to be all that good to upstage most of the compition in this area.)

    I wouldn't be interested at all. I see it as another effort to combine TV with the PC. Maybe I'm old school, but I'd rather watch my movies on my TV and use the PC for other things like creating the movies, e-mail, this board, etc. I spend enough time in front of the PC as it is

    The only possible exception would be a business trip where I frequently take a laptop with and watch movies on the plane
