  1. Just out of curiosity, what encoding applications/tools do Hollywood companies use to master Blu-Ray movies? How about VC-1 encoded movies?

  3. Many titles are software encoded using cinemacraft hd , blu-code , or cinevision.

    If you look at cinemacraft's webpage , you will see a list of recent titles under "blu-ray encodes"

    AFAIK almost all use scenarist to author
