    I was just wondering if there is a DVR-106 firmware upgrade available for the dual layer media?

    pioneer admitted it wasnt a retail 106/A06.. it had physical modifications.

    then again, they may have lied about that to try to get people to not even try to upgrade their burners to dual layer for free.
