    i have downloaded a file which is a ligos codec, i used avicodec viewer to tell me exactly what it was and it said the video was ligos mpeg. can anybody tell me if i can burn this straight to vcd with no conversion and if that plays on a standard vcd player?

    Ligoes is an MPEG decoder, nothing more. Your file is an MPEG. Ligos is the decoder with top priority on your PC. This is not a "ligos file".
