    how fast do u guys rip ps2 or dvds at? is there an option to adjust the ripping speed?? becuz mine is at 1.7x-2x all the time could i make it read faster?

    What model Lite-On do you rip with? Mine ripped @ 16x out of the box. I would think that you could rip faster...

    Make sure you have DMA enabled on that IDE channel.

    Alot of DVD+-RWs will only rip a DVD at 2x. I had to buy a DVD-ROM so I could rip faster.

    actually i am ripping with a DVD rom and i have a seperate dvd rw
