  1. Just wanted to let those who have been waiting to hear from people who have burned DLs.

I burned one tonight and I love the result. I make sporting event DVDs and I was finally able to put a football game in full quality onto one disc.

The burn process took 38 mins for just about 8 gigs of data. No errors were found.

I burned a Verbatim DL disc on a Sony DRU 700A

  4. I got the dvd burner from CompUSA. A friend of mine is an employee so I got the burner at cost.

The disc was apart of a package that I bought at Best Buy yesterday. The Verbatim Dual Layered Solution Pack.

It included one DL disc with some DVD+Rs and an DVDRW disc. It was originally $30, but I used some store credit to pick it up for $10. I mainly bought it to test out the DL disc.
