Why are you using NERO to encode? Just use DVD DECRYPTER to rip in FILE MODE then use DVD SHRINK to compress then use NERO to burn. DVD SHRINK is a free software. The guy who created it now works for AHEAD NERO who created NERO RECODE.

g_wiz, welcome to the forums. You need to use file mode, when you start DVD Decrypter hit mode/file and make sure all files are highlighted, if they're not hit ctrl + a. Bob's yer uncle.

  4. The reason i would like to use Nero Recode is that i use AutoGK to convert some of DVDs to to Xvid files or Divx files. I have seen on this site that the Nero Digital file format is comparable to these formats. When i use Nero Recode to open the "video_ts" folder i use for AutoGK i get an error message.
So, i would like to know the DVD Decrypter setting for ripping files for use with Nero Recode.

here take a look at this picture on how to RIP IN FILE MODE.

Go to MODE, click on F for FILE MODE & highlight all the files then save those files whereever you want them on your hard drive.
