It doesn't allow mpeg-1 files to be imported? Damn, it was doing everything I needed too. Please tell me there is a way to make it accept my original VCD files (please don't tell me to reencode it)... :P

I also had this problem. Can import SVCD but unable to do VCD.
You can use TMPGENC DVD AUTHOR to import VCD's without encoding if that's any help. -
I have no trouble importing VCD mpeg1. DVDLab 1.3 simply demuxes then offers to transcode audio to 48khz, and it's done...
