  1. It doesn't allow mpeg-1 files to be imported? Damn, it was doing everything I needed too. Please tell me there is a way to make it accept my original VCD files (please don't tell me to reencode it)... :P

  3. I also had this problem. Can import SVCD but unable to do VCD.

You can use TMPGENC DVD AUTHOR to import VCD's without encoding if that's any help.

I can import mpeg-1 files with 44khz audio. I'm using dvd-lab 1.4 beta 2. I'm gonna test import a dat file from a vcd directly now.

It can't import dat directly, you must rip the dat to mpg with vcdgear or isobuster.

Ok, I was importing them as elementary streams. M1V and AC3 files. They were 44.1khz but I changed them to 48K to make them DVD compliant. I get the original VCD and use isobuster.

Ok, how? As everytime I use 1.3 version to import MPEG1 it crashes.

    Thanks.

  9. I have no trouble importing VCD mpeg1. DVDLab 1.3 simply demuxes then offers to transcode audio to 48khz, and it's done...

  10. If DVD-Lab is crashing, I'd bet there might be somthing hinky going on with the MPEG-1 files, possibly bad frames, or something such.
