im using tmpgenc wizard to make dvd's with avi's

with 25fps, and 23fps files i have no problem it is straight forward, but files that are 29fps i am unsure which options im supposed to select, in the wizard i open the video file, ntsc dvd (for 29fps) film movie, then set screen size etc, then set audio and video bitrate, but for 29fps files only it seems to want to inverse telecline to 24fps? should i let it do this? or am i best off unticking the inverse box in settings?

  2. Try Video Mode instead of Film Movie.

If the source is 29.970fps then you can SOMETIMES do an inverse telecine but more often than not it will "screw up" as that is a very "touchy" process.

Better off just leaving it at 29.970fps and therefore NOT doing an inverse telecine.
