Lately I've been getting a burn process failed message whenever I burn my disc, it just started and I haven't changed anything as far as settings, software, hardware, or media. I'm using DVDShrink to burn, and I believe it uses Nero 6 Ultimate Edition. Anyway the problem is, if it is even a problem, the disk seems to burn fine, plays in the stand alone and everything seems to be there, it's done it at least 2 times, the first disc wouldn't play unless I went to chapter 1 and started it, no menu would work, the second one seems fine. Any ideas anybody?

There is no NERO Ultimate edition. I think you mean ULTRA. That said, I use DVD Shrink 3.1 and NERO 6.3.1.10. I think I remember having a similar situation. Try a lower burning speed, turning off background programs, different media, and see if DMA is enabled. This way, you can troubleshoot it. Sound like crappy media to me personally. What kind do you use?

My bad on the Ultra/Ultimate thing, that said. I'm using Memorex DVD+Rs, I've never had a problem with them in the past, but with this stuff I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I'll check the things that you inquired about and try some different media as well, not overly concerned about it as long as I'm not making coasters. Thanks.
