Hey people. I recently set up dual monitors on my PC. I'm on a GeForce FX 5200. I have the latest Nvidia software and nView setup on my PC. There are only 2 types of nView that suit my needs:
I PREFER Clone, because it shows the same thing on both monitors, but the problem is that my 2nd monitor cant take higher than 75hz on 1024x768, and I always run 85hz at 1024x786 on my main monitor. I don't wanna have to lower my refresh rate, it hurts my eyes. Please help! I just want to run to separate refresh rates. I tried changing it on the Monitor tab of display properties , but it didnt do anything, since the nView setting was in clone view.
My alternative is what I am using right now, is DualView. The problem with that is 2 problems actually. 1st, i cannot display the desktop of my main monitor on the 2nd monitor, only videos (no webpages, spreadsheets or just my desktop period!). 2nd, DualView uses the span feature, so I keep losing my mouse cursor! and the screen saver gets all messed up because it spans onto the other monitor! Is there any way I can get DualView to work like Clone and get rid of the spanning feature. Please help me!
