  1. I recently upgraded my burner to a dual format model. I realize that I have to buy blank +R and -R, but is there a difference or way to burn +RW and -RW? I don't see anything in a setting for this with RecordNow Max and I am happy with using it vs Nero or EasyCD.

    Thanks.

There is no specific setting in burning dvd-/+r or dvd-/+rw,the only thing you have to do is erase the dvdrw if you are going to use them again.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

You burn DVD+/-RWs the say way that you burn DVD+/-Rs. The only difference is that you can erase a DVD+/-RW and burn again whereas you can only burn once to a DVD+/-R.

I don't use RecordNow Max (I have Nero and RecordNow), but RecordNow Max should give you the option to erase a DVD+/-RW that's been previously burned to.

  4. Thanks for the help guys. I realize that +rw disks can be erased and rewritten. What I was asking is if you can burn as -rw vs. +rw. I guess it does not matter, though and thanks for the help.

I guess I'm still not following what you're asking? Are you asking is there a difference in how you burn DVD-R(W)s versus DVD+R(W)s? Is so, no. You burn both discs the same way.
