  1. My project is to make my own dvd movie from clippings from 3 diferent movies. I'm using DVDDecryptor and TMPGEnc DVD Author for this project. all the 3 movies has dolby digital 5.1 channel audio stream. i decrypted all the movies in to 3 different folders, this step is fine, then i added first file to TDA and it added with no errors, but in the file info it says NO AUDIO, it happens with all the 3 movies, even when i tried to edit the movie file to cut into clips there is no audio,
is there any other way to do this?
    thanks in advance!

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you need a plug-in to handle dolby digital in TDA (maybe it's only to convert to DD). If you are familiar with DVD-Lab, try that. It handles DD (AC3) natively.

You might also want to check if there is sound in the files on your hard disk after the rip. Try to play them with your favorite DVD files player like PowerDVD or WinDVD ("play DVD files form hard disk" option in PowerDVD).

  3. Thanks lechtin!
they are playing with power DVD player normally, it is with TDA, yes dvd-lab supports DD 5.1 if source file is DD 5.1 but creating a source file DD 5.1 is itself a project, because with dvd-lab the source creator is TMPGEnc DVD Source creator which doesn't support dd 5.1, is there any other tools that i can creat a source file for authoring?

You should be able to just import the .VOB files into DVD-Lab to re-author. No need to separate the AC3 from the video portion of your rips (I think). Otherwise, I suggest you check the tools section for an audio demultiplexer. If you don't find one here, try on www.doom9.org.

I have not tried this myself, but that would be my next step.

    Good luck.
