Hey guys, I'm new to this so bear with me... How can I take my DVD movie "The Town" and make an exact copy of it on another DVD to watch on my DVD player. I have a DVD burner.

The short answer is you can't (make an exact copy). However, <<<<----- over there is a section called 'HOW TO' and one of the topics is 'DVD Backup'. That should get you started.

  3. DVD Fab, rip, burn to DVDR (dual layer if necessary).

CloneDVD, may need AnyDVD, if a protected DVD.

The only reason you can't make an "EXACT" copy is because you can't copy the copy protection.... LOL!!

jagabo sated the easiest & cheapest (free) way.

Rip with DVDFab HD Decrypter to copy it and remove/bypass the copy protection, if you want it at full quality burn it with imgburn to a DUAL LAYER DVDR, if you want to burn it to a single layer dvdr, run it through DVD Shrink to compress it and remove any extra audio tracks you don't want, like foreign languages, then again, burn with ImgBurn.

But you should test out the "search" function or the actual forum you posted this question in as it has been asked and answered a million times and is one of the easiest things to do.

Not to mention the "stickies" at the top of this actual forum
