  1. Hi, i have a lot of .avi movies that i would like to be able to put on my dvd-r and be able to play them on my dvd. The problem is i dont know how to go about this, my friend suggested converting them to mpeg-2(i think) but that makes the movies really big. Is there a way i can fit about 20 .avi into a dvd-r? Like vcd or something? They are all really good quality so id like to keep it that way. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

avi files are huge you would need to convert them to MPEG 2 to burn on a dvd.

Like budz said, check out the guides. I'll hand you the ones you need:
Click on Convert to find out how to turn the .AVI files into MPEG-2 files (if you do it right, the quality need not suffer), then click Author to find out how to author a DVD by using i.e. TMPGEnc DVD Author.

    Good luck!
