  1. I have 2 avi clips which id like to put on 1 dvdr.

    Lets say my 1st clip is 1hour, 2nd is 2hours.

    Calculated bitrate for 3hours of movie is 3253kbit.

    Do i need to split it, or should i encode each clip at this bitrate? Which would never fit of course. But splitting those in 1/3 and 2/3 would give me really low bitrates.

    Any help would be great.

    Encoding both files at that bitrate will give you the desired file size.

    If you find after authoring , if you use menus etc , that it is slightly too large , you can use DVD Shrink just to squeeze it slightly to fit the DVD-R perfectly.

    yeah...it actually does make sense.

    Tmpgenc author gives me this error all the time, never guessed it were the menu's.
