Hi, I have a DVD that I cannot access on my PC via my DVD R/W.

I have tried the following programs:

    Smart Ripper
    Clone DVD 2
    DeCSSPlus
    Amigo DVD Ripper
    DVD Decrypter

I can watch the DVD in My Stand Alone Phillips DVD Player, works perfect with no trouble at all.

Clone DVD 2 seems to be the only ripper that actually reports an error. Error as follows:

    "Error Opening Video files from
    E : /
    E : /VIDEO_TS.IFO:21: Unable to open file"

Can Anyone help me with this please?

    Thanks for reading.

Hi again. Also when I try to browse the DVD "Double Click the DVD R/W Icon in My Computer"....I get an error asking me to put a dvd into drive, the DVD is ofcourse in the drive, just will not read it at all.

I tried reading the DVD with Intervideo WinDVD, no luck at all.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi johns0. I threw in an old DVD Reader I had lying around, read it 1st time. Never even crossed my mind it could be an incompatibility problem, oh well problem solved.

    Thank You.
