  1. Sorry for starting a new thread but I'm trying to get the just of this.

Capmaster sugguested opening the VOB file with an editor and save it as an MPEG-1 (VCD) or MPEG-2 (SVCD or DVD).

Can someone point me to a how to or tell me what kind of editor to use as he stated above? I've looked around but I'm new to this and I don't really know what to look for.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Look in the tools section for an editor that will open .VOB. Womble MPEG Video Wizard will. Nero Vision Express will. Several of the newer SW versions will handle .VOB files. For the ones that don't, often you can rename the .VOB to .MPG and open with an editor.

There is no "best" or "worst" editor. It's all a matter of taste and pocketbook.

Look through the tools, and by all means read the guides along the top left. That'll save you from having to post and wait for the basic questions
