  1. I have a couple VOB files that i want to convert. But the few programs i tried shrunk the file size by alot and the qualiy of the video is greatly reduced. What can i do to convert VOB to other file types but still have the same quality as the VOB file?

A decrease in size means quality loss. You can revert the VOB files back to their original MPEG2 and retain their original quality and file size.

  4. Literally "without any quality loss" would be a simple remux into another container. AviDemux, MMG, Yamb, TsMuxer can do that. The resulting files won't be significantly smaller.

What most people mean when they ask that question though is "not much quality loss". You can compress to half or less with MPEG 4 part 2 (ASP) codecs like Xvid and Divx, even smaller with MPEG 4 part 10 (h.264, AVC) codecs like x264, with very little visible quality loss.

  5. You can always try VOB2MPG you won't lose the quality but output size wil be huge.
