    Is there an MPEG2 editor that will let me change its audio type and
    not reduce the videos quality?
    If so, please tell me what its called or give me a download link.
    My camera is Sony's DCR-SR45

    TMPGEnc MPEG Editor Premium can output ac3,mpeg,wav audio.

    I tryed the trial and the program had no way to change the PEG2's audio type.
    I just want a way to import MPEG-2s into Vegas Pro 8 with audio!
    I HAVE TRYED EVERYTHING!

    Just reply to add new information. YOu can start by tell us more information about your mpeg2 source, is it ac3 audio?
