Meritline has these for $39 (for 50) with free shipping. I need 50 or 100, but am not sure of the quality. Also, is silver shiny as good/ the same as matte, or this strictly preference???

    Thanks all!!

Riteks are one of the best DVD-R's for the cheaper brands. As far as the finish I prefer the Matte. Here is a list that someone posted here a while back about different places to order media.

Media Quality- See Lord Smurf's Guide here:
    www.nomorecoasters.com

www.meritline.com - decent prices, sometimes slow shipping. Some hate, some love this store. Great selection. Usually same day shipping. Customer service has always been helpfull for me.

www.supermediastore.com - cheap prices, slow ground shipping to the east coast (6-8 days), a few packages weren't packed that good, but no damage occured.

www.cddimensions.com - Ok prices, on the east cost, so fast shipping to that part. Smaller selection of the "good stuff"

www.mediasupply.com - Ok prices, East Cost, only the "good stuff". Friendly and smart staff. Very well packed shipments.

www.shop4tech.com - only a few orders here. Same boat as supermedia store, slow shipping to the east coast, and 2nd/3rd day air is over priced.

www.cdroutlet.com - selection isn't that great, but prices are ok. Fast ground shipping for the east coast. Well packed.

www.newegg.com - good prices, smaller selection, OK packing. Shipping is always slow as hell for me. Even from the east coast warehouse takes them 4 days to get to me, 5 days from west coast warehouse, never same day shipping unless I check and pay extra for same day shipping.

www.rima.com - decent selection, great prices, fast/cheap shipping, well packaged very well, always same day shipping (if ordered in time), quick responce to emails.

My only problem with Newegg is that I can't tell which Ridata to order. I am looking for the G04's. Any help is very much appreciated!!!

  6. G4's are Ridata DVD-r rated at x4 speed with red wrapper.
G3's are only x1 speed and that's the difference.

The price is 41.99 for 50. But prices change daily I bought them last week for 39 dollars.

  8. Look for RDSM in Newegg's model number and that is the silver matte version. I have near 100% luck with those and Newegg has them in my hands in 2 business days every time.

  9. Right ON! RDSM
That's the link I sent him too!
Weird that the Dvd +r media is cheaper when I checked today.

    The dvd+r is 38.99 for 50
    The dvd-r is 41.99 for 50
