I have been working a little with XML (on webpages) and I was very confused when I saw the XML word around here on this site... then I looked into it a little and I guess you can make more complicated burning using XML but what exactly can you do? Donīt need a lesson in XML just an explanantion what I can do with it! for example... what's an entrypoint... what benefits do I get form authoring XML on my VCD?

    Thanx/

  2. You don't actually burn the XML on your VCD.

With VCDImager, you can create the menus and interactive structure of your VCDs. This is done by editing an XML file which describes how the interactive content of your VCD is put together.

"Entrypoints" are used to describe starting points on a VCD tracks other than the beginning of the track. This allows for a form of "chaptering" on a VCD.

  4. Go to the official VCDImager website. There you can download the latest build of the proggy, get the manual, as well as download sample XML files from the XML "repository".

There is also a PAL/NTSC demo VCD which displays what can be done with VCDImager and the VCD2.0 format, as well as a few other useful things (e.g., like screen tests).
