SmartRipper and single layer

I'm using SmartRipper 2.36, ripping single layer DVDs. After I burn the decrypted vob on a DVD-R, the DVD-R doesn't play in my standalone.

It doesn't come from a player compatibility problem, I figured that out.

Any ideas?

What software are you using to burn the DVD-R?
Does it have a DVD movie template?

I'm using PrimoDVD and use the DataDVD template.

The weird thing is the first time I ripped a movie, it worked. But since I cannot get it to work anymore.

To validate that Primo was not the problem, I made a copy on the first DVD-R that worked, using the dataDVD template, and the copy successfully plays.

That's why I think it's a ripper problem...
