Im buying a 24x cd burner but the prcies of all the 24x 10 packs are too much..any help would be appreciated.![]()

Well my TDK 24x burner using Nero lets me burn one step higher then the CD's rating with no problem! I bought 16x CDR disks a stack of 50 for $7. and 9.50 they burn at 24x no problem. Primaris(Imation were 3m) brand. Pioneer brand 12x burn at 16x no problem I got errors at 24x only tried once. I bought the disks at a large electronics store (Fry's Calif,OR and Arizona) Some burners are picky about disk brand and others aren't. My TDK and Yamaha work with any brand so far. One of the reasons I went with them. Some brands only work with one or two brands of disks. DVD players can also be picky you will just have to try a few and see...
