avi to vcd or svcd or dvd

i have and avi file with 576x432 bit rate 102 aud mpeg layer 3 fps 25 i have tried to convert this file with differents programs as tmpgec,virtual dub etc
i always received the same for all those programs format not supporte they can't open the file
which program can i use to convert this file to any format compatible to play in a dvd ntsc

try installing some codecs or a codec pack.

Don't install codec packs, it can screw things up. Test your files with Gspot and get only the ones you require.

ZIPPYP thanks for the hint with gspot i already check the file and i got all the codec necessary the file is xvid i got not problem to see it in my computer but i want to convert it to other formtat

Do you know which program to use to convert xvid

Install FFDSHOW and try again with TMPGEnc.
