Hi guys, i have searched a lot, but havenīt found any tutorial or info on how to mux subtitles into DVD MPEG-2 Videos... Iīve found a tutorial and a program to mux subs into SVCD and CVD, but where can i found a program that do this on an DVD video????
I donīt want to make permanent subtitles, i want selectable subtitles. How can i do this? Please help...
Btw, i donīt know if this is the right forum to post... sorry![]()

you need a dvd authoring tool with subtitle support, like dvdauthorgui and dvd-lab pro. add the video and the subs and author.
other tools with selectable subtitle support:
https://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=&s=&orderby=Name&convert=&dvdauthorfeatures=...+or+List+tools
and this is dvd authoring so I'm moving you. -

What should i do for then to work?? Omg... -
Adobe Encore DVD
click on the adobe subtitle converters links, the second one seems to support subtitle workshop. -
Woops... another problem...
I converted the subs and everything, but when i try to import then at enc.dvd i get this message..:
"Timecode overlap found in subtitle script line:
01:00:00:28 01:00:05:17 Text_text_text_text..."
But there is no overlap, iīve checked!!! Seems that every line after 1hr looks like overlap to encodedvd.... wtf... god must hate me... ahhhh!!
Any help?? -
Nobody????
I can try the other two subs, but donīt know how to make them, anybody knows how can i generate "FAB Images Script" or "Captions Inc. Script" subtitles? Please help, iīm desperate!
Btw, i was able to generate an working dvd subbed with DVD-Authorgui, but itīs too simple, i want to make good-looking menus like in Encore DVD... But i canīt get it to work with subs... -
