I am trying to convert the PGS subtitles to .srt on one of my BD rips, which I assume is a format that can be displayed by the WD TV. It does not display PGS subtitles, at least not for me.
I use tsMuxer to demux the video, audio and the subs from the BD. I then use SupRip to convert the PGS subs into srt. However, when I use tsMuxer again to mux the video, audio and the srt subs to an M2TS container, tsMuxer converts the srt subs back onto PGS. Is there a way to have tsMuxer keep the srt format?

I don't think think the m2ts supports srt subtitles...
Doesn't the wdtv support external srt subtitles? Or maybe srt in mkvs. -
It may indeed be the case that m2ts does not support srt subs. How would I use external subtitles?

Got it working. Placed the M2TS file containing the muxed video and audio without subtitles, along with a separate srt subtitle file into the same folder, and the WD TV plays the subs correctly now.
It's a bit of a chore converting the subs to srt with SupRip, as a lot of the characters have to be entered manually. Otherwise it works well.
