    Using version g

I'm attempting to multiplex a .m2v and a .mp2 to a DVD, or to an MPEG-2, it won't do anything. Any idea of how to fix this? No matter what program I use to multiplex I always get this exact same error in the exact same place.

    Here is the process window.

  2. Could you email me a link to download the files, so as I can test.

I'll have to find a way to share them. 600mb is larger than I have on the net to share. I'll reply with a location.

If you're on an always-on connection, you could set up the ftp server on your mac, there's an app called ... errr ... PureFTP enabler or something like that. Really easy to use, takes about 30 seconds, but if it's just for a one-off transfer I'd suggest you disable your firewall temporarily rather than diddle around trying to get passive FTP working (some links on my os x page if you're interested).

We have an upload cap of 30kb/sec

It would take ~9hours for you to dl it.

It'll demux the mpeg, but it won't mux it back again. In fact no program using mplex will mux the files back together.

  9. Using Version "g" I'm experiencing the same problem. Additionally I've learned that you must select the .m2v file first and then the .wav file or it won't process at all.

    See output below:

    Input #0, wav, from '/Users/ben/Desktop/Reds.wav':

    Output #0, mp2, to '/Users/ben/Desktop/Reds.wav.mp2':
    Stream #0.0: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 224 kb/s

  10. ...in regards to my earlier post. I have also used ffmegX to successfully Demux an MPEG-2 and received the same error when trying to Mux it immediately after (without modifing the files).

You seem to author DVD bitrate/sized streams, so you should use DVD profile, not generic profile.

  12. If you mean changing "Mux as..." from MPEG-2 to DVD then it worked. Why doesn't the MPEG-2 setting support a higher bit rate?

    Thanks for your help...

  13. Not to knock major's application or anything, but a solution I have found a while ago is using innobits BitVice Helper application. Its a free download from their site and allows you to multiplex tracks with ease. If you are still having problems with ffmpegX, I suggest checking it out.

Bitvice didn't mux them either. Nothing that uses mplex will mux the files.

    Bitvice didn't
    ffmpegX didn't
    MissingMPEGTools didn't
    MPEG2Works didn't
