  1. Hi all, i'm trying to encode an xvid with 576x240 resolution with tmpgenc. I can get it to work with 16x9, but with full screen the video is stretched(coneheads..lol) I have searched all over for a way to fix without any luck. Is there settings that anyone knows of that would correct this problem?.... or am I stuck with having to watch 16x9 dvd on a 27 inch tv. Thanks in advance

Did you try using 1:1 (VGA) aspect ratio in addition to selecting full screen(keep aspect ratio)?

  5. On my first attempt I had 1:1(VGA) with full screen(keep aspect ratio) and it stretched it. I have tried other combo's with the same result, except for 16x9. Have you had success with that resolution converting to full screen dvd?

  7. Sounds like WinMedia Player 6.4. Have you tried it in another player?

To fix the problem in tmpgenc is goto settings/advanced/clip frame/arrange setting and choose center(custom size) and adjust away.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  10. I had no luck with those settings teegee420, must be something i'm doing wrong? I used the center(custom size method 720x340) like johns0 said, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for all the responses, I really appreciate it!
