    Can anyone recommend a brand of media for this burner, I just got it and am totally lost as there seem so many, and I would rather get a personal recommendation. Please help I'm nearly tearing my hair out

    i use maxell 4x-r mxlrg02. works great. fuji works well too. thats if your buying from a store. taiyo yuden, mitsubishi chemicals, prodisc are recomend too..havnt used myself yet though. update to the latest firmware and it wont matter, i've burnt cheap media that didnt work before with the latest update.

    Thanks for that I think it's a bit more complicated than I thought I've seen some datasafe RICOHJPNR01 maybe I'll give them a try and see how it goes
