  1. My friend gave me these files of a DVD he made. He has a PC. I tried making a VCD in Toast and it says it is unable to recognize the files.


    What should I do/ CAn i convert these to MPG's some how? What can I do.

  2. You could find a port of CDRDAO for the Mac and use a tool like "CueTools" to convert the Cue file.

    CDRDAO is pretty common in both Windows and Linux world, so i'm guessing there are already GUI's for it for the Mac.

    Don't ask me where to find them, I'm on a PC.

    are these on the dvd as data?

    which version of toast did you use? currently 6.0 is what is needed to properly burn them as vcd/svcd

    if they are data copy them over to your HD. You can use VCDTOOLSX to extract out the .mpeg files and make them into whatever you want
