As my comparison to the Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert was this is not a comparison of quality but ability to capture a home movie. See my page here for the long version: http://www.nepadigital.com/mv
Unfortunatley the Geforce has shown that it too experiences the same problems as the ATI. I'm getting a white bar through the middle part of the picture. I just got it so I haven't tried to fix it yet but due to my experience with the ATI my hopes are not great. The quality of the capture seems on par with the ATI.
I haven't tried the original home movie from the original tests but will soon.
Anyone know how to get rid of the white bar?
Guess I've left ATI hell and entered Nvidia hell. Guess I'm off to the store to buy a TBC...... Go ahead Lordsmurf, let me have it LOL.

Update: I did a little research and found that version 1.08 of the nvidia WDM drivers is the last available version without MV protection. I installed them and have no further problems.

Coalman, having just read this on another thread, you may be surprised to learn that many low-end JVC VCRs can add as many problems as they fix. So that JVC 2900 model you have could be a culprit for many things you have wrong.

Could be but I have trouble with any VCR I use. For example the above picture is from a Hi-8 cam not the JVC. The onlt time I have trouble is when MV detection is present. Which is complete bull$#!*...
I'm looking at the Clarifer by Facetvideo, any experience with this product? It's about the only product that is readily available where I live. I'd have to get anything else delivered. -
Coalman:
Hate to hear about your initial results with the GetForce.
My $60 SIMA Ct-1 sometimes works for me. And they have a $170 clarifier / stablizer I read about. And lets not forget about the famous TBC-1000 we are all going to probably end up with one day.
I am glad to see you and Lordsurf back on speaking terms.
