  1. I've made audio CD's with additional CD-ROM content (CD-PLUS) already, but it was with nero, and they were engineered with the first track holding as many minutes of silence as there were megabytes used by the enhanced content. Not the very best solution...

I'm sure that a more professional 1CD solution is possible, but I dont know what tools would do this. Has anyone ever done CD-ROM menus and stuff like that? What software should I try for things like that? I have no idea about this field at all atm.

I need to make up a CD-Plus for the next project I'm involved with, will be an EP for a metal band that shall also have a video and interactive part. I'll be glad for any help and software recommendations.

    thanks

  2. I've authored these types of discs before.

They were created in two sessions. The first was the CD-DA audio tracks, and the second was the CD-ROM XA Mode 2 material. Both were handled by Nero without any problems. There was much argument as to whether these were true Blue Book CDs, as they did not have the required files and folders, but they did the job requested.

I don't see any reason why your first session couldn't be the CD-DA tracks, and your second session couldn't be the additional material with an AUTOPLAY.INF file. I want to say Macromedia Shockwave is what you're looking for, but I can't remember offhand...

What about a CD-DA disc with a VideoCD session?
