I'm trying to copy a DVD of some camcorder footage, and I'm of the ilk that thinks it's better to copy back to the HDD using explorer and reburn.
The disk plays fine, but I keep getting error's when trying to copy the last (of four) VOB's.
The media isn't grade A, but it isn't the worst.
Is there anything else I can do to try get it?
I've tried with two DVD burners and one DVD-Rom drive but without success.
I supose an idea of the error messages would help, right?
I'll do that tonight, I'm at work but one in particular (there are a few) is "...cyclic redundancy" (or something) and another, the typical "...annot read from the source".

I know you don't need to but have you tried decryptor or smartripper,
shouldn't make any difference but with home footage you want to keep it's worth a go -
Didn't think of that but just tried and no luck, thanks anyway
