the audio is in the vob files, it must be extracted with a program like dvd2avi.

using dvd2avi is when I have the problem I select the vob files. when it is finnished what i have is a mpeg but no wave.

do a preview in dvd2avi, look at the audio, if it says dts you will not have a wave file as dvd2avi cannot decode dts, if this is the case go to track 2 on audio and preview again, this will probubly say dd, now run dvd again and your wave file will be there.
