My new external USB NEC DVD ND-2500 runs great under XP.
However when I try to use it in Win98SE, NERO does not see the drive.
When I check "My Computer" the drive is seen as ONLY a CD drive not DVD drive.
It was suggested by a friend that the NEC drive's firmware is likely only for Windows 2000 and up.
If there is a firmware for WIN98 I would be concerned about NOT being able to get back to the existing firmware.
I did a search of this site and many others and there does not seem to be drivers for WIN98 unless I just missed it.
Any help from here will greatly appreciated and recognized !!!
