I have a Sony DCR-DVD300 camcorder. I use the rewritable discs. I use a Sony Vaio computer to copy the 1.4GB discs to standard 4.7GB DVD-R discs. If I use EasySystems "Dragn' Drop CD+DVD” software that came factory installed, the machine will make a “disk copy" of the original with no problem. What I would like to do is copy a 1.4GB disk to my laptop, and then make a DVD-Rfrom the laptop HD. My laptop and the Vaio are connected through a router and LAN cards. When I try using the “Data DVD” function of same application as the Dragn' Drop CD+DVD, the DVD is not playable in home DVD player but all the data is there. I can play the movie (all clips in one 1.3GB file) by right clicking the .VRO and choosing Open with... WMP. The other files are .BUP and . IFO. Any suggestions? Is this an issue of closing a data as opposed to a movie DVD?
Thanks,
John
