  1. I was wondering what the major difference in an All In Wonder is versus getting just a Tuner? Is it basically the graphics capabillites of the AIW, basically helping in gaming, etc., and the Tuner would be just for capturing? I have a pretty good card right now, 9700 Pro and Im not looking to upgrade any time soon, although i would like to buy a fairly cheap PCI tuner card to capture some Tv and VHS tapes to my PC, what would be the best thing to do and what are my best options for a pure tuner card, PCI/USB/Firewire doesnt matter, just not very expensive but with good results? I know Im not being too picky and not asking for very much . opinions are very welcome, thanks!

  4. i'm using 2 cards at the moment.
an old tv tuner card, pinnacle pctv pro (works grate ,uses a brooktree)

and a capture card, Averdvd ezmaker (better picture, uses a phillips SAA7130HL), but its not a tuner - just a capture card.

the Averdvd is grate and doesnt cost much, you can get one with a tuner.
but use other software than what it comes with - its a joke.

the AIW is grate, but you dont need it - so why bother?
get a nice tuner card and capture to avi, the videos will look better
    than the AIW any way.
HELL AINT A BAD PLACE TO BE
