  1. I'm a newbie but already have lots of coasters. When I burn my dvd from DVDIT, the video comes out fine but no audio. I rendered the mpeg video from Dell Movie Studio Plus. How can I fix the audio?

DVDIt is a little finicky about a LOT of things.. Honestly, it isn't my favorite authoring app by any stretch of the imagination.

    That said...

It *does* like separate audio and video files. When you create a menu button and associate it with a clip, you need to also drag the desired audio onto that button.

In certain situations, it will correctly pick up the audio from an interleaved source. You can use the remote control emulator to check for sound prior to making a coaster.

Also -- if you look at the link properties of your menu buttons, it will show you is you have audio associated with a given button...

    Hope this helps...

  6. Hi,

I am a DVDIT user and maybe I can help you. Remember 2 things always. Some of this might be repeated from above but it is important on DVDIT. On your menu page where you add your clips right click anywhere on the menu and get it to show the links of each button. You should see an audio file as well as a video file. Also...make sure you have your audio set to 48mhz. (I think it's mhz..i always forget. Anyway...any other number than 48 will produce no audio. I hope this helps. Sonic used to have a great forum for people but they took it down for some reason.

  7. thanks! I looked at the properties on each button (link) and sure enough it says no audio. The audio plays fine when I play it with the remote in DVDit. How do I get it to create a separate audio file? and how do I drag it onto to buttons?
