    Hi,

    I'm planning to purchase a new DVD-ROM drive for my computer, since my old one isn't working that well anymore. I got a SONY DRU500AX installed as my second drive. I usually use a DVD-ROM to backup my DVDs. Anyone have a suggestion which drive I should buy??

    Either a Toshiba or a Lite-On 166S, those are considered the 2 fastest drives out there.

    Get the LiteOn. The Toshiba is a picky drive.
