Thats odd, because DVDshrink's default shrink size is 4.464gb... And Ive never had a bad burn in about a year now. ::knocks on wood::

  4. Vicodin, DVD Shrink says 4464 MB, which equals to around 4.36GB. Harddisks are meassured with 1000MB=1GB to look more impressive on the paper, but apart from that 1GB=1024MB

did you ever think that might be the reason why you are burning a million coasters? every time you post, you are saying about how many DVDs you have wasted.

I understand your frustration. I've burned a few coasters myself and it can be more than a bit frustrating but please don't start the "Ebay" thing.
Ebay didn't sell you scratched media, Ebay didn't scratch the media during packaging, Ebay didn't ship the unscratched media that was then bounced around and scratched during shipping and finally(I'm sure there are more though) Ebay didn't deliberately ship you scratched media.
Ebay is not to blame. The same thing could happen if you bought it from Meritline or Naked Geeks or anyone else for that matter.
I have a very reputable seller on Ebay that I buy all of my Ritek's from and haven't had ANY problems because the SELLER is reputable.
