    Hi,

    Is there a way to create a (DATA) mp3 disc (DVD+/- R) that will play in a standalone DVD player ?

    Yep. In your favorite burning software go to New > Data Disc. Your standalone DVD Player will need to be able to play them on DVD though - not all do. If yours doesn't, try the guides here and here as MP3-DVD alternatives.

    I've tried that and my standalone dvd player (Panasonic S-25) won't play it.
