Everytime I capture using v-dub to a xvid avi file, the picture is flipped then I have to load it again and flip it with a filter and resave it as an avi. Is there a way around this? Something I can set where it will capture it right side up? Just looking to reduce my encoding time. Thanks in advance.
PS I already tried setting a filter to flip it while in capture mode and that didn't work![]()

You can add the filter just before capturing. Also, you can try to find the codec that is coorupting your system by disabling your codecs in the Device Manager one by one.

Sorry, I have no idea, but it really doesn't take that long. Double click a codec, disable it, then try to capture and see if the problem goes away. You only have to capture a few moments of video per attempt.
