  1. I'm trying to record a Football game to my computer. The football game is 3 hours long. I'm using ATI MMC v7.7. However ATI's system limits me to about 2hrs 30minutes. now i have a 200 GB hard drive that its copying to, so I know that the Hard drive space is not limiting it. I also looked at the setup and tried to change the Max Size File to Window Limit. but still stuck at 2hrs 30 minutes. Is there something I can do to bypass this?
Will updating the software fix this?

    thanks.

The card probably can't stomach that much stupidity in a row.

  4. So you ARE using the NTFS file system on the capture drive?
If so, try another capture software. you should not have a limit other then the hard drive size.

  5. I run MMC 7.7 on a FAT32 drive (WINME) but if you set your file limit to 4gb instead of Widows Limit it automatically segments to a new file after the 4gb is used up.

  6. If you are using the scheduler to record, just set up 2 recording times back to back. If your there for the recording just stop and restart during a commercial.

Really??? I never thought of trying that. I have it set to Windows limit figuring that it would give the same result as 4gig since I have Fat32. I always figured that this functionality just wasn't available in MMC. When I need to go higher than 4g in a single cap I have used Virtual Dub. I will have to try this. Thanks for the tip!!!
No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space.
