I am unable to get my VCDs to work in my Sharp DV-710. The specs say that it is suppoed to support CDRW's, which is what I'm using, and VCD and SVCD.

So, I put a DVD in my combo DVD/CDRW drive, rip it with DVDDecrypt, convert it with DVD2AVI, encode a few minutes of it with TMPGEnc using the VCD(NTSC) template, then use VCDEasy to generate a .bin file which it cannot write because it doesn't recognize my drive. So i rename it to .iso and write it with EasyCD Creator 5 Basic, which appears to work just fine, the various files and directories show up on the CDRW. I take the CDRW and put it in my Sharp DV-710, and it says 'VCD', then sits for a second, says 'PLAY', then 'STOP', then '00:00'.

I tried several times with various settings, but it always does the same thing. Any suggestions?
